1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and [Legal Entity] ("M-Tech", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the M-Tech website, courses, virtual instruments library and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

02

2. Description of the service

M-Tech is a music-education platform offering structured training in music theory and instruments, vocal technique, music production and technology (DAWs, MIDI, recording, mixing, mastering), and a library of downloadable virtual instruments, sound banks, plugins and presets. Course catalogs, formats (video, live sessions, downloadable resources) and the specific instruments/tools covered may evolve over time as new content is published; the core categories described on the homepage remain the scope of the service.

03

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have the consent and supervision of a parent, guardian, or church/organization leader if you are younger. You agree to provide accurate registration information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

04

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

M-Tech offers the plans described on our Pricing page, which may include a free tier and paid subscription tiers (individual and church/team). Paid plan pricing, billing cycles and payment methods will be confirmed at checkout once payment processing is enabled. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time; unless stated otherwise on the Pricing page or required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable for the current billing period. We reserve the right to change plan pricing or features going forward with reasonable advance notice.

05

5. License to use the content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, M-Tech grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the courses, videos, PDFs, and other course materials for your own learning, or for training members of your own church/organization if you hold a Church/Team plan. This license does not grant you ownership of the content.

  • You may not resell, redistribute, publicly broadcast, or share course accounts/logins outside your own household or organization.
  • You may not remove copyright, trademark or attribution notices from any course material.
  • Screen-recording or downloading course videos for redistribution is prohibited.
06

6. Virtual Instruments Library — specific terms

Sound banks, plugins, presets and other downloadable audio assets made available through the Virtual Instruments Library are licensed, not sold, to you. Unless a specific asset states otherwise:

  • You may use them in your own musical productions, recordings, and live worship/performance settings, including commercial releases of your own music.
  • You may not resell, re-license, or repackage the raw sound assets themselves as a standalone product.
  • Attribution to M-Tech is appreciated but not required for finished musical works that merely use the sounds.
07

7. Acceptable use

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, or interfere with the Platform's normal operation.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other members of the M-Tech community (e.g., in course comments or discussion features).
08

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, logo, course curricula, videos, text, and all M-Tech-branded content are the property of [Legal Entity] and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you beyond the limited license described above.

09

9. Educational disclaimer

M-Tech's courses are educational in nature. We do not guarantee any specific musical, vocal, or career outcome from completing a course — results depend on your individual effort, prior experience, practice, and circumstances. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, M-Tech and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid M-Tech in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11

11. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the content licenses described above, or engage in conduct that harms the Platform or other users.

12

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [Jurisdiction], except where local consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring a claim in your own country of residence.

13

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
